Execution: It's all in the process
The successful delivery of an explainer video project is more reliant on a well co-ordinated team effort than just the technical ability of any one individual. icu2 have refined the process of corporate video project management, to ensure a smooth, timely and predictable outcome.
A new startup, it was important to effectively communicate the value proposition of the jobCloud technology to the market for the purpose of attracting clients for the beta pilot and for presentation to Oracle Ignition Labs.
To build a compelling narrative for the purpose of:
a) communicating with the market
b) presenting the solution to Oracle
icu2 designed the corporate identity, developed the content, built the landing page, wrote scripts, filmed and edited the videos. This included both a promotional video and an interview with Harry who had been using the technology for 2 years in alpha testing and development.
Having been deeply involved in all aspects of the development and marketing of the new product, icu2 worked in an agile manner to deliver a pitch. This included collaboration between all stakeholders in the design and development of video content, landing page and supporting collateral (pitch deck).
In line with the simplicity of the application, we opted for a more relaxed conversational style, less confronting for builders and trades who are traditionally aversive to new technologies and processes. For this reason we chose an SLR camera for its depth of field and less formal appearance.
jobCloud was selected as a finalist in Oracle Ignition Labs and the product is in final stages of beta development.
